The Goals of Knowing Our 8 Sensory Systems
This eye-opening module is designed to expand your understanding beyond the traditional 5 senses to master all eight sensory systems and their profound impact on children's daily experiences. You'll learn to identify sensory seekers and avoiders, understand how sensory processing affects behaviour and regulation, and create environments that truly meet sensory needs.
You'll gain practical tools to spot sensory differences in action and respond with intention rather than assumption. This module will fundamentally shift how you interpret children's behaviours, empowering you to support regulation and wellbeing through informed, sensory-aware practice.
Structure of Knowing Our 8 Sensory Systems
This comprehensive module features an engaging video presentation exploring all 8 sensory systems, a detailed workbook with observation tools and practical strategies, an interactive game to reinforce sensory understanding, and a quiz with a certificate to confirm your expertise. All materials support immediate implementation and serve as ongoing reference tools.
